For a luxury take on the Soft Minimal design direction, designers are looking to the Art Deco movement of the 1920’s. Hospitality and retail interiors are achieving sensitive luxe aesthetics through the considered juxtaposition of colour, materials and linear forms. Warm hued metals such as brass, copper and bronze are paired with dusty pastels of rose, lemon, sage and sky blue to emulate the elegance and opulence of the Art Deco era.
